Books you read over and over

Literature: The Great Library of Candlekeep is a great place to go to talk about books and poems. Also the place to get help with homework, speeches, projects, etc. Grab a book from a nearby shelf and start reading!

Books you read over and over

Do you have any books that you like to read over and over?

For me I have read The Stand by Stephen King many many times now.

I used to read The Forbidden Game trilogy by L.J. Smith over and over. Now I haven't read it in years because I'm afraid it won't be as special as it once was to me. I also used to re read a book called Letters From Rifka a lot. I can't find the book now which makes me really sad. My sister gave it to me when I was 12 or so. I've also re read the first Harry Potter book a lot. Oh! And I've re read the Stephanie Plum books a lot.

[17:54] K: It's nearly impossible for me.
[17:55] C: Why?
[17:56] K: Because I simply can't let go.
[17:56] C: What do you mean?
[17:56] K: I'm still getting over what we lost. And it's really hard to be around you and try to be just friends.

I reread the Harry Potter books a lot too, not always the whole series, sometimes just the first couple books.

I used to reread Transformation by Carol Berg all the time but I haven't read it in ages. I think I'm afraid I won't like it like I used to.. especially after I recently reread a Charles de Lint book and just didn't really get into it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one afraid to re-read a book and not be into it anymore. :l I find my tastes in books is changing which is sad and exciting at the same time.

I don't think it's a bad thing though. :P

Another one I've read a few times and would be willing to read again is Ready Player One by Ernest Cline.

I've only read that book once but I really enjoyed it! I couldn't remember if I had a physical copy or a copy on my kindle though. xD I looked and it's on my kindle. I'd re-read it but I have so much I need to read. xD

Yay I'm glad you enjoyed it! Maybe you can reread it eventually once you get through some of the other books on your list. xD
